Business Analyst - Ticket Reservation Systems

Must have experience with Airline/ Travel Reservation Systems (such as Amadeus, Arrow, Galileo, Apollo GDS)

Job Description:

Seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives involving enterprise applications, reservation/ticketing systems, and travel/transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong requirements, process analysis, stakeholder management, and UAT experience, preferably within the airline, travel, railroad, or transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements
• Perform business process analysis, workflow/process modeling, and identify process improvements
• Develop requirements traceability, business cases, solution assessments, and validation documentation
• Support UAT, test case development, QA activities, issue resolution, and escalation
• Facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
• Prepare project status reports, user documentation, training materials, and presentations
• Support change management, user adoption, compliance, and cross-functional initiatives

Required/Preferred Skills:

• Business Analysis methodologies and requirements elicitation/documentation
• Experience with reservation, booking, ticketing, POS, kiosk, or travel systems
• Travel/airline, railway, or transportation industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ARROW, SAP, Ariba, HP Quality Center, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Office is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• CBAP or other Business Analysis certification preferred
