Business Analyst

The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 16 years and they are looking for Business Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity based out of their Southgate, MI location.

• Business Analyst Summary
• This position serves as a liaison between internal teams and production workflows—ensuring all
• deliverables are received, tracked, processed, and executed on schedule. This role requires strong
• analytical skills, process tracking, forecasting, and client communication capabilities.

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Salary: $60-75,000 per year, based on experience.

• Business Analyst Responsibilities
• Track and manage all client mailings from initiation through delivery
• Ensure all workflows align with required timelines and service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Maintain accurate job tracking systems and databases for all mail projects
• Analyze mailing volumes, timelines, and throughput to identify trends and inefficiencies
• Develop forecasting models to anticipate workload, resource needs, and scheduling constraints
• Document processes and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Business Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or production tracking roles
• Strong proficiency in: Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis), Reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Experience tracking workflows, timelines, and deliverables in a production or operations environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail with a data-driven mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
