Business Analyst

• TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Business Analyst
• Duration : This is a 8 month contract located in Toronto/Ontario, Hybrid (3 days on site)

Job Description

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• • Support daily CMPIRD activities during Toronto business hours
• • Assist with Global CCP Portfolio Compression processes and reporting
• • Support reconciliation, validation, and payment of Interest Rate Derivative brokerage and fees
• • Investigate and help resolve trade-level cash breaks and discrepancies
• • Perform ad hoc bulk lifecycle actions and support corporate action postings
• • Respond to queries relating to Risk, P&L, and Funding differences
• • Work closely with global FIMO teams to support post-trade lifecycle maintenance
• • Assist with updating procedures and supporting control and audit requirements
• • Participate in process improvement and change initiatives

• How much time is being spent in meetings : 3 hours a week
• Who are they interacting with (internal/external) : Mostly internal teams
• Will the contractor have access to any customer data? Yes

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

• 1.) Middle office
• 2.) Fixed income exp
• 3.) Product experience
