Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance, Investment Management, and Private Equity Valuations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, valuation teams, and technology teams to define requirements, document processes, and support the delivery of valuation and financial data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and process flows.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Define user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the design and implementation of valuation workflows and financial data solutions.
• Manage data definitions, business rules, and data mapping requirements.
• Collaborate with valuation teams and deal teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Validate system outputs and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document configurable business parameters and ensure audit-ready processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience within Finance, Investment Management, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Capital Markets.
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity valuation concepts, including:
• Trading Comparables
• Precedent Transactions
• Enterprise Value (EV) Bridges
• Multiple Selection Methodologies
• Experience creating business requirements, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of IFRS fair value measurement and audit requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with data modeling, data mapping, and schema design.
• Experience leading UAT activities and financial data validation.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technology teams in an Agile environment.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Private Equity or Investment Management organizations.
• Familiarity with financial data platforms and valuation tools.
• Exposure to workflow automation and financial analytics solutions.
