About The Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as a vital link between business users and IT teams within the Title & Escrow industry. This role is integral to supporting and enhancing business applications, gathering and documenting detailed requirements, and driving process improvements that boost operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Title & Escrow operations, with experience in SoftPro and business systems analysis. This individual will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to facilitate system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and process optimization efforts. The Business Analyst II will play a crucial role in ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs, supporting testing activities, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support ongoing operations and training.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting Title & Escrow operations and related business processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of SoftPro software.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system and business issues.
  • Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management processes.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage project schedules and deliverables.
  • Relevant certifications or training in business analysis, systems analysis, or related fields are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT for Title & Escrow applications, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot production systems by diagnosing issues and implementing effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements to support system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
  • Develop and support report generation using SQL and business intelligence tools to meet reporting needs across departments.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate system enhancements, and support smooth production releases.
  • Assist with change management activities, including communication and training related to system updates and enhancements.
  • Perform quarterly SOX compliance reviews for applicable systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at standardizing processes and implementing best practices.
  • Track project progress, communicate status updates, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
