Offshore Business Analyst
The Offshore Business Analyst will work closely with CenExel’s Product Managers, Engagement Manager, and engineering pods to translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories, specifications, and process flows. This BA must be comfortable working with clinical operations teams, product owners, and technical leads, and should understand the clinical trial lifecycle, site-level operations, and regulated system expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation & Documentation
Conduct requirement workshops with client Product Managers and key stakeholders.
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, wireframes, and specifications.
Maintain backlog health, ensure story readiness for sprints, and groom epics into incremental deliverables.
Document “as-is” and “to-be” process flows for clinical and operational workflows.
Functional Understanding and Domain Mapping
Develop a strong understanding of client functions like patient recruitment, screening, scheduling, payment systems, etc.
Ensure requirements are versioned, traceable, testable, and compliant with validation expectations.
Document process controls, audit trail requirements, and role mappings.
Collaboration with Pods + User Support
Work daily with offshore engineering teams to clarify requirements and ensure solution alignment.
Coordinate with QA for test case creation, validation criteria, and UAT defect triage.
Assist in preparing release notes, business validation scenarios, and UAT readiness material.
Work closely with UX, backend, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in Business Analysis in IT delivery.
Experience in life sciences, especially in CRM, CTMS, or clinical systems.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery and user story writing.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or Jira.
Excellent communication skills for working with client stakeholders.
