Business Analyst

• Business Analyst 5- 164891
• - Interview Process: Virtual and in-person. 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required).
• - Assignment duration: Initial 1-year contract with a possibility of extension based on performance and business needed.
• -Required onsite days- Wednesdays and Thursdays
• - Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable

Job Summary:

• The Business Analyst will partner closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders,
• project leadership, and delivery teams to support discovery, business process analysis,
• user acceptance testing (UAT), training readiness, and Azure DevOps (ADO) backlog
• management activities. This role serves as a bridge between business operations and
• technical delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and are
• successfully adopted by end users.

Required Skills:

• -8+ years of experience gathering requirements from user
• -6+ years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation
• -4+ years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies
• -3+ years of experience maintaining and organizing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks using Azure DevOps backlog management tools (Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.).
• -CBAP Certification (new requirement)

Preferred:

• -Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog and work item management
• -Experience supporting Product Owners in Agile delivery environments.
