Business Analyst

Exciting opportunity! We’re partnering with a leading client to find an experienced Business Analyst to join their team. Someone to drive requirements and delivery across a complex, multi-application IT environment tied to strategic operations and regulatory compliance. This is a role for someone comfortable owning ambiguity, running several workstreams at once, and being the person business and technical teams turn to for clarity. • What You'll Own
• Lead discovery sessions and turn complex business needs into clear requirements, process flows, JIRA epics, stories, and acceptance criteria
• Own the backlog: prioritize, refine, and maintain JIRA epics and sprint items across multiple applications
• Guide Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
• Partner with developers and technical teams to work through API behavior, JSON and XML schemas, data mappings, and integration validation
• Coordinate user testing and UAT, drive defect triage, and secure business sign-off through release
• Support production stabilization and incident assessment, including root-cause coordination and status communication

• What You Bring
• Must-haves:
• 5+ years of experience leading business analysis for large initiatives spanning multiple applications and stakeholder groups
• Direct experience supporting complex, mission-critical operations within a highly regulated environment, with exposure to compliance requirements and operational processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog management in JIRA
• Comfort working with APIs, JSON, XML, and schema structures to validate integration requirements
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, conditional formatting, database and API connections, and Developer tools for XML schema handling
• Nice-to-haves:
• Background in strategic operations, market submissions, scheduling, or other time-sensitive operational environments
• Experience coordinating across QA, cybersecurity, cloud, database, networking, and architecture teams
