About The Role

The Business Analyst will play a critical role within Waymo’s Strategy & Business Operations team, focusing on driving strategic initiatives that support the company's growth and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, this role involves conducting comprehensive business analyses, translating complex data into actionable insights, and supporting the development and execution of go-to-market strategies. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and communicate key findings to senior leadership. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about leveraging analytics to influence strategic business outcomes in a high-growth technology environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in analytical roles, preferably within high-growth technology or mobility sectors
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to senior leadership
• Experience in business and data analytics, statistical methods, and applying business context to data analysis
• Proven ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and drive business solutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
• Interest in advocating for solutions derived from analytical insights

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze current business and industry trends to inform strategic planning
• Lead business analyses to generate actionable insights from data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance projects and ensure successful outcomes
• Present business results and key findings to senior leadership and broader organization
• Contribute to scoping analysis efforts, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively
• Develop and own solutions for the Ridehail Business, including idea generation and problem-solving
• Support the development of business cases and strategic recommendations based on data analysis
