About The Role
The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting, enhancing, and implementing Neumo’s Jury Management software solutions designed for courts conducting jury trials. This position demands a highly analytical mindset, a deep understanding of court and jury administration processes, and the ability to lead complex business analysis initiatives across multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess leadership experience, thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and demonstrate excellence in customer-facing engagements. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, documenting processes, translating operational needs into technical requirements, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will also facilitate workshops, support system testing and deployment, and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization of judicial processes through innovative technology solutions, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and improved judicial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent related experience
- 3+ years of experience working in court operations, jury management, or judicial administration
- Previous experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst role
- Experience with judicial or government software applications
- Proficiency with JIRA or similar tools for user story creation and project management
- Experience supporting software implementations or enterprise system rollouts
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset focused on customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments
- Knowledge of court and jury processes, terminology, and workflows
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; familiarity with Confluence and Monday.com is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as required
- Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet and maintain a professional home office environment
Responsibilities
- Analyze jury management workflows, court operations, and judicial processes to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Document current and future-state business processes, functional requirements, and system interactions
- Translate operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams
- Conduct data analysis and research to support solution design, configuration, and decision-making
- Engage directly with customers throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process review sessions with court personnel
- Provide subject-matter expertise and best-practice recommendations to clients and internal teams
- Support user acceptance testing, validate system configurations, and assist with rollout activities
- Work collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
- Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive documentation in JIRA
- Create high-quality process maps, requirements specifications, and training materials
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for clients on the Jury Application
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success
