# Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – EDI & Process Optimization

## About the Role

McKesson is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support EDI implementations, business intelligence, analytics, process optimization, and cross-functional project management. This role combines data analysis and reporting with EDI implementation and process improvement initiatives.

You will work with business stakeholders, suppliers, technology teams, and third-party providers to implement EDI transactions, develop dashboards and performance metrics, identify process inefficiencies, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.

## Key Responsibilities

### EDI Implementation & Project Management

  • * Lead implementation and onboarding of EDI non-core transactions, including EDI 844, 849, 844 resubmissions, and 845.
  • * Analyze client and supplier requirements for electronic information exchange and ensure compatibility between internal and external systems.
  • * Manage requests for new EDI projects, interfaces, enhancements, and change requests.
  • * Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, risk assessments, and status reports.
  • * Coordinate testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • * Partner with EDI IT, Connectivity Support, suppliers, third-party providers, and business stakeholders to resolve implementation and production issues.
  • * Support post-implementation stabilization.
  • * Monitor milestones and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

### Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • * Gather and translate business requirements into reporting, dashboards, and visualization solutions.
  • * Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, operational gaps, and process improvement initiatives.
  • * Develop dashboards and reports using Google Docs, BigQuery, Spanner, Looker, and other reporting tools.
  • * Create KPI reporting and performance metrics covering EDI adoption, implementation effectiveness, chargeback automation, and operational efficiency.
  • * Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders.

### Process Optimization & Process Mining

  • * Work with process owners and technology stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and improve processes.
  • * Use process mining tools to analyze performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • * Manage and prioritize process mining enhancements and workflow optimization requests.
  • * Develop process maps, workflow documentation, business requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • * Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual work, improve compliance controls, and enhance customer experience.

### Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • * Facilitate written and verbal communication with internal and external business partners.
  • * Build relationships with suppliers, third-party providers, contract administration teams, and technology organizations.
  • * Present project updates, operational metrics, implementation status, and improvement recommendations to leadership.
  • * Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders and external business partners.

## Required Qualifications

  • * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • * 2+ years of experience in EDI implementations, business intelligence, business analysis, process improvement, or related fields.
  • * Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • * Experience supporting implementation or integration initiatives involving suppliers, customers, or third-party partners.
  • * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions.

## Preferred Qualifications

  • * Experience in healthcare distribution, contract administration, pricing, chargebacks, or supply chain operations.
  • * Experience implementing or supporting EDI transaction sets, including EDI 844, EDI 845, and EDI 849.
  • * Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management practices.
  • * Experience with vendor onboarding, trading partner setup, and EDI mapping activities.

## Education & Experience

## Compensation & Benefits

  • * Base pay range: **$76,000–$126,600 per year**.
  • * Additional compensation may include an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities.
