Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Salesforce expertise to support enterprise initiatives for the Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES). The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver Salesforce-based solutions that improve operational efficiency. This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be local to the Phoenix area and available for occasional travel to various state locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Act as the liaison between business users, project managers, and development teams.
• Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements using Salesforce capabilities.
• Support Salesforce configuration activities, including objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist in project planning, solution validation, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain process flows, business documentation, data mappings, and functional design documents.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
• Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management and project tracking.
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) Certification or Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.
• Experience with Salesforce data migration and integration tools.
• Knowledge of Salesforce APIs.
• Experience building Salesforce reports and dashboards.
• Experience supporting large Case Management systems.
