Business Analyst

A Robert Half client in Seattle WA is modernizing operational systems across maintenance, compliance, and field operations. They have a need for an Operations Business Analyst who will focus on process discovery, data mapping, and preparing for ERP migration.

This 12-18 month contract role is hybrid onsite in Seattle, applicants not in the local Seattle market will not be considered for this opportunity.

• Core Responsibilities
• Document end-to-end operational workflows (maintenance, compliance, field ops)
• Map data flows across SaaS, legacy systems, and databases
• Identify process and data breakdowns
• Extract/analyze data from:
• SQL Server environments
• SaaS platforms (CSV/API)
• Support data validation and cleanup
• Execute workstream tasks under BCM leadership
• Prepare systems/processes for future-state ERP migration

• Required Qualifications
• Prior experience with ERP transformation initiatives
• Strong ability to:
• Query and analyze data using SQL Server
• Work with large, inconsistent datasets
• Extract data from SaaS platforms (CSV/API)
• Experience with:
• Workflow/process documentation
• Data cleansing and validation
• Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with:
• Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem (helpful but not required)
• Great Plains (current ERP environment exposure is a plus)
• Intelex, eMaint, or similar platforms
• Exposure to:
• Maintenance, compliance, or operational environments
• Experience with fragmented or loosely structured systems

• You operate effectively in messy, real-world environments
• You execute and support, rather than lead full workstreams

• Exposure to Dynamics / Great Plains environments as a plus
• Avoid:
• Candidates needing structured environments
• Functional-only profiles without technical depth
