Our challenge:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA-PM) with strong SAP expertise to lead business transformation initiatives, manage project delivery, and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process optimization while driving projects through the complete lifecycle.

- The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).
- The Role
- Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Lead SAP projects and initiatives from planning through execution, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and business process mapping activities.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
- Define and track project milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Support SAP system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, training, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or BA-PM.
- Experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, or SuccessFactors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Expertise in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
- Experience managing SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with risk management, issue resolution, and project governance.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or SAP certification.
- Experience with SAP integrations involving third-party applications and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of data migration, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, banking, or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of change management and organizational transformation programs.
- Relevant SAP and Project Management certifications preferred.
