Business Analyst(Murex Reporting)

• Business Systems Analyst – Murex Reporting (Capital Markets)
• Location: Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements for Murex reporting and data extraction.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Liaise between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.
• Perform data mapping, impact analysis, and requirement traceability.
• Support SIT/UAT, defect management, and reporting validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and Agile project delivery.
• Required Skills:
• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with Murex Reporting, Murex DataMart, or WSS ION.
• Strong knowledge of reporting, data extraction, data mapping, and data lineage.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, defect tracking, vendor coordination, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred:
• Knowledge of Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience with reporting migration, transformation, or rationalization initiatives.
