- Position: Business Analyst
- Duration: 6 Months (with possibility of extension)
- Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the enhancement and maintenance of a grant management application used for administering federal funding programs. This role serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendor partners to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and operational support.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), creating end-user documentation and training materials, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business users regarding application issues.
- Communicate issue status, resolutions, and project updates to stakeholders.
- Operational & Technical Liaison
- Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Leadership & Team Coordination
- Lead and mentor business analysts.
- Delegate tasks and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate business requirement gathering sessions with both technical and business teams.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Ensure process changes, business decisions, and technical documentation are accurate, current, and accessible.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 2+ years of experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office applications.

- Hybrid work environment.
- Two days per week in the office (preferred), with the remaining days remote.
- Full-time onsite work is also an option.
