Business Analyst — Junior/Middle

2. About the Opportunity:

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of a new mid-market analytics platform. This role acts as a liaison among business stakeholders, product, engineering, and data teams to gather and translate business needs into clear requirements, ensuring that the solutions address the correct challenges. It is suitable for junior candidates with strong analytical skills as well as mid-level analysts ready to take greater ownership of requirements and cross-functional initiatives.

3. Responsibilities:

• Gather and clarify business requirements from internal stakeholders and users
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and QA teams throughout development
• Analyze existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Document workflows, business rules, requirements, and process changes
• Support backlog refinement and clarify requirements for development teams
• Analyze data and operational information to inform business and product decisions
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and project discussions
• Validate delivered functionality against agreed business requirements
• Track open questions, dependencies, and requirement changes during projects

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in business analysis, project coordination, operations, data analysis, or related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with both business and technical teams
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

$70,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
