About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join Verisk as a WCIO Compliance Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our internal teams, external clients, and system enhancement initiatives related to Workers Compensation data reporting. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with WCIO standards and managing the data reporting processes for DCOs, particularly for the WCPOLS and WCSTAT products. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, internal departments, and Data Collection Organizations, facilitating seamless communication and system updates to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

This position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of Workers Compensation data reporting standards, and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our reporting systems, support client onboarding and ongoing maintenance, and contribute to continuous process improvements. You will also be responsible for monitoring regulatory updates, providing recommendations for system modifications, and ensuring that all reporting activities align with industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • College degree, preferably in Business Administration, with 3-4 years of experience in Workers Compensation data reporting.
  • Proficiency in WCIO standards and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Extensive experience in data reporting and processing within the insurance or related sectors.
  • Strong data analysis and research skills to interpret complex datasets and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service and project management abilities to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve reporting issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations related to client activities, utilizing an interactive ticketing system to track and resolve issues.
  • Assist in managing the product backlog and contribute to the development of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in regular and ad hoc client meetings to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns.
  • Support staff and clients by providing expertise on WCIO standards and specific DCO requirements for WCPOLS, WCSTAT, WCDCI, WCMED, and WCIND products.
  • Monitor DCO circular announcements and communicate necessary specifications for wcPrism system updates to ensure compliance with new requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and product engineering teams to deliver timely solutions and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Provide internal support to ISO staff on specific projects and regulatory matters, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting processes.
  • Maintain clear communication with divisional management regarding customer issues, progress updates, and potential red flags during and after system integration.
  • Continuously review and improve internal processes and procedures to meet the evolving needs of clients and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research, diagnostics, and issue resolution daily, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
