About The Role
The position at University Health involves managing specialized functions related to grant funding and post-award administration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can oversee the financial and operational aspects of grants, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The individual will be responsible for budgeting, monitoring variances, preparing internal reports, and ensuring contractual obligations are met. The role demands strong analytical skills, the ability to produce comprehensive reports and presentations, and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting the organization’s mission by ensuring the efficient and compliant management of grant-funded projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Prior experience in grant management, fiscal oversight, or healthcare funding is highly desirable. Knowledge of federal and state legislation pertaining to healthcare funding and grants will be considered an asset. Strong proficiency in financial software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform specialized functions in the areas of grant funding and post-award management, including overseeing budgets, monitoring fiscal and operational variances, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Develop and produce a variety of reports, presentations, and templates to support program requirements and facilitate timely completion of deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper allocation and utilization of grant funds, and maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions related to grants. Monitor adherence to federal and state regulations, and assist in audits and compliance reviews. Support the development of grant proposals and reports, and serve as a liaison between funding agencies and internal departments. Continuously evaluate processes to improve efficiency and ensure the organization’s financial integrity and compliance standards are maintained.
