Business Analyst (Enterprise Governance Risk & Compliance)

• Role: Business Analyst (Enterprise Governance Risk & Compliance)
• Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
• Duration: 24 months (Possible Conversion)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Agile product team supporting the development of a next-generation platform for Second Line Risk Management within the Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) framework.

• Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Institutions (FI), or Non-Financial Risk Management environments.
• Exposure to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Operational Resilience, or Risk Management programs is highly preferred.

• Must-Have Skills
• Business requirements gathering and documentation.
• User story writing and backlog management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong leadership potential with interest in progressing toward a Product Owner role.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including working with large datasets in Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Preferred Background
• Experience working with major Canadian banks or financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance (eGRC) platforms.
• Familiarity with operational resilience and non-financial risk management practices.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and stakeholder-facing environments.
