Business Analyst (eCommerce, Big Commerce, Dynamics Commerce 365)

• Job Title: Software Business Analyst
• Location: Florham Park NJ (onsite 5x a week)
• Salary: up to $130k base annually plus benefits, 401k, PTO, etc (Based on Experience)

Keys to the role:

• This role is focused on product sales, product ordering portals, invoicing, etc
• Familiarity with Dynamics Commerce 365 (preferred), BigCommerce or similar
• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience is also needed for this role
• Ability to wear multiple hats and shift priorities quickly

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Business Analyst to help deliver business-critical software solutions. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, analyzed, and translated into functional specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience in software development environments, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements for new and existing systems
• Perform gap analyses and document workflows, wireframes, use cases, and functional specs
• Partner with development and QA teams to review scope, track progress, resolve roadblocks, and support testing
• Communicate project status, timelines, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Evaluate solutions for scalability, usability, and implementation readiness
• Analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements
• Support system enhancements and ensure compliance with HIPAA and related regulations
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to reporting and process standards

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Functional or Software Business Analyst
• Experience supporting large-scale IT solutions in an SDLC environment
• Strong documentation, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, wireframing, and workflow documentation
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business, development, and QA teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
• Healthcare and/or pharmacy operations experience required
