Business Analyst – Digital Products

Trident Consulting is seeking a " Business Analyst – Digital Products” for one of our client in " Rosemead, CA "A global leader in business and technology services.

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $38/hr. on W2

• Position Summary
• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support digital product delivery initiatives by transforming business requirements into well-defined, actionable user stories and requirements for development teams.
• The Business Analyst will partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, UX, and technology teams to ensure work is clearly defined, properly prioritized, and ready for development.

• Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, workflows, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Document business rules, process flows, decision logic, dependencies, and exception handling scenarios.
• Identify gaps, risks, assumptions, and dependencies within requirements.
• Create user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
• Support Product Managers in managing and maintaining the product backlog.
• Assist with backlog grooming and refinement activities.
• Validate stories meet the Definition of Ready before development.
• Track dependencies across teams and initiatives.
• Clarify requirements during development and collaborate with developers, testers, architects, UX designers, and Product Managers.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate delivered functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects.
• Verify solutions meet business objectives before release.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and business signoffs.

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years of analytical experience.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software, digital, or technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital products such as web, mobile, customer self-service, or contact center solutions.
• Experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
• Experience managing and refining product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technology requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience using Jira, Aha!, and Figma.

• Desired Skills
• Experience creating process flows, journey maps, wireframes, or workflow diagrams.
• Familiarity with UX design principles and customer experience best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Knowledge of utility, energy, customer service, billing, payments, or digital customer experience domains.
