- Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Workday Benefits Integration Support
- Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)
- Contract Duration: 09/01/2026 – 06/30/2027
- Pay Rate: Hourly on W2

- Position Summary
- The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) is seeking a hands-on Senior Business Analyst to lead post-go-live stabilization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for integrations between Workday ERP and external benefits/retirement providers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Issue Resolution: Trace end-to-end data flows (hires, transfers, payroll, terminations) across Workday and external systems to diagnose discrepancies in eligibility, enrollment, and contributions.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Determine whether errors stem from source data, Workday/plan configuration, integration logic, processing timing, or vendor-side behavior.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, Workday functional/technical teams, developers, and third-party benefits/pension vendors.
- Documentation & Mapping: Develop end-to-end data flow diagrams and clearly document business rules, technical findings, and resolution recommendations.
- Validation: Verify bug fixes and ensure corrected transactions process cleanly across all integrated systems.
- Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a BA supporting HCM ERP implementations, post-go-live stabilization, or complex system integrations.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including analyzing integration data, mappings, transformation rules, logs, and flat files/reports.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical root-cause analysis for non-technical business leaders.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on Workday experience (HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Integrations).
- Prior experience with external benefits/pension provider integrations and carrier data exchanges.
- Familiarity with web services/APIs, XML/JSON, middleware, and data transformation concepts.
