Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 3–4 years of experience to partner directly with business users and stakeholders in a retail environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on exposure to POS or retail systems, strong documentation discipline, and excellent communication skills. This is an on-site role requiring direct, day-to-day engagement with business users.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
Translate business needs into clear requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Author detailed test cases and support testing cycles to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Act as the liaison between business users and technical/delivery teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate progress, and surface risks or gaps proactively.
Support UAT coordination, defect triage, and sign-off activities.
Required Qualifications
3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Proficiency in requirements documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories) and test case writing.
Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work on-site and engage directly with business users on a daily basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with POS systems or the broader retail domain (strongly preferred).
