Business Analyst Credit Risk & Regulatory Reporting | 7+ Years

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Experience with systems implementation, process improvement, and re-engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of counterparty credit risk, credit exposure, LEF, SCCL, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with financial products such as Lending, Facilities, Securities, SFTs, Derivatives, Guarantees, and Letters of Credit.
  • Strong skills in data mapping, data gap analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in SQL with tools such as Hive, MS SQL Server, Teradata, HUE, or Dremio.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, UAT, and testing processes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and Access.
  • Tableau knowledge is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and create mapping logic and requirement documents for credit exposure and regulatory reporting.
  • Perform data gap analysis and map source data to internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with IT, developers, QA, business stakeholders, and senior management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate UAT, testing, implementation, and migration activities.
  • Support production issues, user training, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Track project status, identify risks/issues, and provide updates to project leadership and management.
