About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team, responsible for managing and triaging issues related to Operational Command Management (OCM). The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business partners, Capability Managers (CMs), and IT teams to ensure timely resolution and enhancement of operational challenges. This role involves working within ServiceNow to update tickets, respond promptly to user inquiries, and escalate critical issues as needed. The Business Analyst will develop subject matter expertise in OCM, perform complex analyses of command center issues, and support various command centers such as UM ICM, PA, BH, and TOC. The position offers an opportunity to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., with specific in-office requirements for candidates in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. The role is pivotal in maintaining seamless operations and improving service delivery across healthcare command centers, contributing to our mission of improving health outcomes through effective data and operational management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business analysis experience documenting capabilities, features, and stories
• 3+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering with stakeholders
• 2+ years of experience utilizing Agile business or technology methodologies for project delivery
• Experience working collaboratively with technology partners
• Proficiency in using ServiceNow for issue tracking and management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex conceptual analyses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and business users
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Remote work compliance with UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rally or Aha! project management tools
• Background in healthcare operations or clinical software systems
• Knowledge of ICUE (Integrated Clinical User Environment)
• Experience working in triage/support escalation environments
