- Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for insurance or financial services projects.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders (business, operations, compliance, technology) and external partners or vendors.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including defining test scenarios and verifying that delivered solutions meet requirements.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Maintain clear, organized documentation that is accessible for both business and technical audiences.
- Identify risks, dependencies, or gaps and escalate as needed to keep delivery on track.
- Qualifications & Experience
- .Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid).
- Solid understanding of industry processes (e.g., policy administration, claims, billing, banking operations, compliance).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners or vendors.
- Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
