Akkodis is looking for an Information Systems Client Services Analyst / Business Analyst with experience in business analysis and a background in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement (CI). The ideal candidate will be able to gather and document business requirements, analyze and optimize business processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT.

- Contract: 12 months+ Extendable
- Pay Rate: $40 hr. -$45/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
- Two weeks of mandatory on-site training in Sacramento, CA
- Work hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Job Description:
- Support Client Health Plan and Valley Administration business analysis activities within Managed Care Administration
- Partner with business relationship owners, IS delivery teams, SMEs, and customers to identify and document business needs
- Gather, evaluate, analyze, and document business and functional requirements throughout the service delivery lifecycle
- Support initiatives from concept and planning through implementation and ongoing support
- Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and site visits to collect business requirements
- Perform workflow analysis, process mapping, and use case development
- Create and maintain business requirements documentation and related deliverables
- Reconcile conflicting information and help stakeholders identify true business needs
- Translate technical concepts and issues into clear business language
- Assist in resolving application, system, and business process issues
- Contribute to continual service improvement and process optimization efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Complete required on-site training during the first two weeks of the engagement before transitioning to remote work
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
- Experience creating functional specifications and business documentation
- Experience with workflow analysis, data flow modeling, functional decomposition, and use case development
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements and system/process solutions
- Experience collaborating with business relationship owners, IS delivery teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and customers
- Proficiency with presentation software, word processing applications, spreadsheets, and standard business analysis tools
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Continual Service Improvement (CSI) or continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies and process improvement practices
- Experience using Microsoft Visio and workflow management tools
- Experience with Business Relationship Management and project methodologies
- Experience supporting business cases, Statements of Work (SOWs), KPIs, benefits realization, and lifecycle documentation
- Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Proven ability to build consensus among stakeholders
- Experience in Information Services, managed care, health plan, or enrollment environments
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
