About The Role

The Senior Business Analyst at University Health plays a vital role in supporting the Healthcare Transformation team by analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare data to facilitate strategic decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation that communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and contribute to the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for healthcare innovation.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. Prior experience in developing detailed reports and presentations based on extensive research and data analysis is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Familiarity with healthcare data systems, electronic health records (EHR), and data visualization tools will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to interpret complex data into clear insights are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the Healthcare Transformation initiatives, including:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Supporting project teams by providing data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and operational enhancements.
  • Collaborating with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to streamline workflows and optimize healthcare delivery processes.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reports and documentation related to healthcare projects.
  • Assisting in the development of program evaluation tools and performance metrics to monitor progress and outcomes.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on healthcare trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Supporting supervisors and leadership in meeting program requirements and achieving organizational goals efficiently.
