• Location: Hybrid - Toronto, Ontario (2 days a Week)
• Duration: 24 Months (Conversion & Extension Possible depending upon Business needs and Performance)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Core Business Hours (OT as needed)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our agile product team supporting the development of a next-generation platform for 2nd Line Risk Management within the Client's Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) framework.
• You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather, document, and track business requirements while supporting day-to-day product operations.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong analytical skills to grow into advanced product and business analysis responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers to gather and refine business requirements.
• Translate risk management and operational resilience processes into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and regulatory changes.
• Track deliverables from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Prepare structured reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Support user-facing activities, including troubleshooting, ticket management, and product demonstrations.
• Partner with QA teams to validate functionality and ensure requirements are met.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to clarify requirements.
• Perform data analysis to support requirements development and decision-making.

Experience:

3-5 years of overall experience as a Business Analyst. Preference given to candidates with experience in Banking or Financial Institutions, specifically in non-financial risk management.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.

Additional Qualifications: Experience in eGRC frameworks or Operational Resilience is highly desirable.
