Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Banking industry to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the successful delivery of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and project managers.
Support SIT/UAT, defect management, and production implementation.
Prepare business documentation including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process maps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely project delivery.
Required Skills
5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience with requirements gathering, data analysis, and process mapping.
Familiarity with SQL is an asset.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Experience in Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Payments, Treasury, Wealth Management, or Risk.
