Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Type: Full-Time (Mon - Fri)

Location: San Jose, CA

Work Setting: School Setting

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans
• Support students with autism and complex behavioral or developmental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, therapists, and support staff
• Provide staff coaching, mentorship, and behavioral training
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Support nonverbal or minimally verbal students using AAC devices and communication systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and educational planning
• Ensure ethical and evidence-based behavioral practices are maintained
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification required
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required
• Experience working with individuals with autism and complex support needs
• Experience in school-based, special education, therapeutic educational, or nonpublic school settings required
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and staff coaching abilities
• Experience training and mentoring staff preferred
• Adult services experience highly valued
