- Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in Columbia, SC. The BCBA will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and design trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming ABA programs for autistic children. Daily responsibilities include supervising behavior technicians, monitoring treatment fidelity, analyzing data, and adjusting interventions to support meaningful, family-centered outcomes. The BCBA will collaborate closely with caregivers, provide parent and family education, and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork to promote consistency and generalization of skills across settings. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance, contributing to clinical quality improvement, and supporting a culture of compassion, safety, and inclusion.
- Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis for assessment, program design, and data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess skills in Parent Education and family coaching to support caregiver understanding, collaboration, and implementation of strategies.
- Candidates should be willing to learn and grow their understanding of trauma-informed, affirming practices.
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and eligibility to practice in South Carolina
- Experience working with autistic children and neurodivergent individuals in clinical, home, or community settings.
- Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly to families and team members.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills, with a commitment to respect, inclusion, and cultural humility.
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field, and adherence to BACB ethical and professional standards.
