- Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role based in Pittsburgh, PA. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and create behavior intervention strategies for children with autism. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and training behavior technicians, monitoring data collection, analyzing progress, and adjusting programming as needed. The BCBA will collaborate closely with families, provide parent training and education, and participate in multidisciplinary coordination to ensure consistent, high-quality care. The role also involves maintaining documentation, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards, and contributing to a supportive, client-centered team culture.
- Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis for assessment, treatment planning, and data-driven decision making.
- Candidates should possess skills in Parent Education and Behavior Management to support caregivers and implement effective behavior interventions.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Psychology to inform clinical judgment and understanding of child development and autism spectrum disorders.
- Current BCBA certification and compliance with BACB ethical guidelines.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience providing ABA services to children with autism in home or community settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills when working with families and staff.
- Ability to interpret behavioral data, write clear clinical reports, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA and travel locally for home-based sessions as needed.
- CPR/First Aid certification and clear background checks, in accordance with state requirements.
