Compassionate Care ABA is hiring a part-time BCBA/LBA to support adults with developmental disabilities and autism through Maryland DDA Behavioral Support Services. Opportunities are available in Harford County, Montgomery County, Frederick County, and Columbia in Howard County. Candidates may focus on one service area or discuss a broader territory.
This is adult-focused, community-based work in homes, day programs, workplaces, residential settings, and other community settings—not a high-volume pediatric clinic role. Hybrid flexibility is available for eligible indirect work; in-person services are provided in the agreed service area.
Part-time schedule: Flexible caseload and hours based on your availability and service needs. Please tell us how many hours you are seeking and which areas you can serve. Hourly or contract arrangements may be considered; compensation details can be discussed during the interview.
Priority service areas:
- • Harford County, including Bel Air, Abingdon, Edgewood, Aberdeen, and nearby communities.
- • Montgomery County, including Rockville, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Germantown, and nearby communities.
- • Frederick County, including Frederick and nearby communities.
- • Columbia, Maryland, and nearby Howard County communities.
Responsibilities:
- • Conduct functional and contextual behavioral assessments.
- • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise person-centered Behavior Support Plans.
- • Analyze behavioral data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- • Train and coach direct support professionals, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- • Complete accurate, timely Maryland DDA documentation.
- • Support quality assurance, implementation fidelity, and ethical practice.
Qualifications:
- • Active BCBA certification in good standing.
- • Active Maryland behavior analyst license, or eligibility to obtain it before independent practice.
- • Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field.
- • Strong assessment, plan-writing, training, communication, and documentation skills.
- • Reliable transportation within the agreed Maryland service area.
- • Adult IDD/DDA experience preferred; strong pediatric ABA candidates interested in transitioning their skills to adult services are encouraged to apply.
Apply through LinkedIn or email [email protected] with your resume, preferred service area, desired weekly hours, availability, and earliest start date.
