Bilingual QA Test Analyst

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Analyst with strong Manual and Automation Testing expertise and professional English/Spanish proficiency to support mission-critical enterprise applications for the client. This position has a significant Spanish-language testing component involving application screens, notices, correspondence, workflows, error messages, forms, and other resident-facing content. The ideal candidate will have experience testing complex public-sector, healthcare, Medicaid, eligibility, or Human Services systems.

• Strict Requirements
• US Citizen or Green Card holder requirement per the client and W2 only.
• 5+ years of enterprise Quality Assurance experience.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Strong hands-on Manual and Automation Testing experience.
• Prior direct experience supporting the client or a Connecticut State human-services/government agency is required job history.
• Ability to work onsite in Hartford, CT one day per week.
• Local Connecticut candidates will be strongly favored. Candidates relocating must be available locally before onsite work begins; relocation expenses are not covered.

• Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of QA/testing experience with large enterprise applications.
• Strong Manual Testing experience.
• Strong Automation Testing experience.
• Experience developing detailed test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test execution documentation.
• Professional English/Spanish proficiency sufficient to independently validate Spanish-language application functionality and content.
• Experience validating Spanish translations against approved English requirements and expected business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and software QA methodologies.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Jira experience for defect management and Agile project tracking.
• Ability to interpret business requirements, user stories, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders, developers, analysts, architects, project managers, and technical teams.

• Key Responsibilities
• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across complex enterprise applications.
• Perform dedicated validation of Spanish-language application functionality and resident-facing content.
• Compare Spanish-language functionality and content against approved English-language requirements.
• Validate Spanish screens, labels, forms, instructions, alerts, correspondence, notices, messages, and workflows.
• Identify incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, or contextually inappropriate Spanish-language content.
• Verify that Spanish and English application experiences produce consistent business functionality and outcomes.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Develop test cases specifically covering Spanish-language functionality.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts using approved frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Test REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Perform backend database validation using SQL.
• Validate interfaces between enterprise applications and external systems.
• Review business requirements, user stories, specifications, designs, and technical documentation.
• Document defects and track them through resolution.
• Clearly document Spanish-language defects for English-speaking technical and business stakeholders.
• Participate in defect triage and validate software fixes.
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability through the RTM.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, and release planning.
• Provide testing estimates and status reporting.
• Support release validation and post-production verification.
• Assist with continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation frameworks.
