  • Are you a numbers-driven professional who speaks fluent French and thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment? Our client is seeking a highly analytical Bilingual Pricing Analyst to join their growing finance and sales operations teams.
  • The core function of this role is the rigorous validation of customer marketing agreement rebates and claims, ensuring financial accuracy across electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments, and serving as the primary French-speaking contact for regional third parties.
  • Advantages & Benefits
  • Long-Term Potential: Initial 6-month contract with strong, written visibility into a 12-month extension or longer based on performance.
  • Modern Hybrid Structure: Enjoy the flexibility of working from home 4 days a week, with just one structured anchor day (Tuesday) in a highly collaborative, central downtown Toronto office space.
  • Career Momentum: This position was created due to exciting internal movement and organizational growth, offering excellent visibility across commercial and financial teams.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Rebate & Claim Validation (80% – 90% of Core Workload): Monitor, validate, and process customer marketing agreement (CMA) rebate programs for each account. Assess accrual rates, product packages, and volumes while proactively identifying exceptions (over, under, or missed claims).
  • Pricing & Contract Administration: Manage and submit annual and promotional pricing contracts into the proprietary commercial system on behalf of the sales team.
  • Agent Communication & Support: Serve as the primary liaison to third-party agents and brokers, communicating all annual and promotional pricing updates seamlessly in French.
  • Reporting & Budget Management: Produce comprehensive monthly reports for the sales team to track commercial spend against budget expectations. Identify, analyze, and call out financial risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Processing: Manage customer payment processing via cheque and electronic funds transfer (EFT), accurately assessing claims against established accruals.
  • Subledger Support: Participate in and support subledger process meetings, collaborating directly with the sales team to estimate monthly commercial spend.
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bilingualism: Absolute fluency in both French and English (written and verbal) is required to manage Quebec-based broker communications.
  • Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas) is mandatory. The ability to navigate and run data queries within Microsoft Access databases is highly preferred; knowledge of Macros is a definite plus.
  • Experience: Strong background in pricing analysis, commercial finance, or rebate auditing—ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional eye for detail with a proven track record of finding data discrepancies, manual errors, or margin exceptions in large financial datasets.
  • Communication & Partnership: Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable partnering with internal sales leadership and external logistics agents.
