IDR is seeking a BI Reporting Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will support a large-scale public sector initiative by delivering scalable, high-impact reporting and analytics solutions. This organization operates within the government services industry and relies on accurate, actionable insights to drive operational decision-making.
Position Overview for the BI Reporting Developer:
Perform data analysis across complex datasets to support business and operational reporting needs.
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
Develop and maintain SSRS reports, including complex and parameterized reports.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries/scripts for analysis, validation, and ad hoc requests.
Support ETL processes and data movement between transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) environments.
Requirements for the BI Reporting Developer:
Strong experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar.
Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
Strong SQL development skills, including writing complex queries and scripts for reporting and analysis.
Experience with ETL development and working across OLTP/OLAP data flows and architectures.
