This is a 3-6 months contract to full-time permanent hire opportunity in the North Atlanta area that will require 4x days on-site (subject to change). The intention is to convert the contractor sooner than later. We provide excellent benefits during the contract period.
Job Description:
This role will work with TPA (Third Party Administrator) to monitor Team Members “TM” on a leave of absence and could review approximately 50-60 caseloads per month. Perform tasks related to benefits administration with uploading and monitoring electronic feed files. Provide support for the People Services department. This position reports to the Director of Benefits & Wellness.
- Leave Administration
- Through the TPA reporting site, manages leaves of absence for all TM, ensuring that managers and HR components are kept updated of leave status
- Works with TPA to determine return to work eligibility
- Assists in employment decisions when TM surpasses their leave allotment
- Keeps TM profile in SuccessFactors updated through the leave process
- Keeps payroll updated as to PTO taken by TM while out and deducts this time from their accrued amounts
- Ensures benefit premiums are being paid in a timely manner and works with arrears reporting
- Responds to requests from TPA to determine if work location can accommodate TM if work adjustments are required
- Salary verification responses to third party disability vendor
- Consults with Risk Manager and/or TPA for TM on Workers’ Compensation
- Benefits Administration
- Uploads weekly 401(k) file by reviewing weekly deferral changes, overseeing ACH transfer of contribution to plan trustee and maintains remittance log
- Work with benefits TPA to transfer file and ensure validity of weekly electronic data feed and assist with escalated benefit issues
- Assists with annual benefit open enrollment tasks
- Updates benefit orientation presentation on annual basis
- Analytics
- Analytical with a strong passion for problem-solving
- Technically savvy and comfortable working with data sets; proficient in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienxe
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- ExperienceFMLA/ADA knowledge
EXPERIENCE
- 5-7 years benefits or Human Resources related field
- Experience in fast-paced and changing environment
Team Member Support:
- Assists with onboarding as needed
- TM terms for Home Office in HRIS
- Project assignments as needed
