Benefits Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Benefits Analyst to join our team at a leading insurance company in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, administration, and analysis of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing data-driven insights to improve benefit offerings and employee satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Solid understanding of benefit plans and related terminology (medical, dental, legal)
• Strong oral and written communication skills for presenting to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to translate technical and corporate information for diverse audiences
• Skilled in analyzing complex issues and recommending effective solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to new software and systems
• Proven ability to work independently and meet project goals
• Experience exercising sound judgment and decision-making
• Capable of managing multiple projects with competing priorities
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff and management
