What We Need
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Professional to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional eager to build or specialize their career in employee benefits. We welcome applications from professionals looking to leverage their experience from a generalist HR role or another HR related field into a benefits specialization. The successful candidate will be a key player in administering our benefits programs and serving as a trusted resource for our employees.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as a primary point of contact for questions regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, and plan details.
- Play a key role in the annual open enrollment process, from preparing materials to communicating with employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefit records in our benefits system.
- Assist with the reconciliation of benefits statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all benefits administration complies with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Act as a backup for payroll processing and assist with payroll related inquiries as needed.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team on various projects and initiatives.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
- Experience in a Human Resources Generalist role is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and with empathy.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Products.
- A proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience working with an HRIS platform, preferred
- Familiarity with benefits-related laws and regulations such as COBRA, FMLA, and ACA, preferred
