2. About the Opportunity:
The Bank Compliance Technology Analyst plays a key role in supporting and advancing the technology systems that underpin the organization''s Bank Compliance and BSA/AML programs. This position is responsible for translating complex regulatory and policy requirements into functional systems and controls, ensuring that compliance technologies are effective, scalable, and audit-ready. The role contributes to maintaining the integrity and reliability of compliance processes, directly impacting the organization’s adherence to regulatory standards.
3. Responsibilities:
- Support the design and operation of the Bank’s BSA/AML and compliance programs.
- Develop and maintain transaction-monitoring rules and customer risk-rating systems.
- Configure case-management systems and operational workflows.
- Translate compliance requirements into clear system logic and operational procedures.
- Conduct testing of compliance controls before and after implementation.
- Monitor control performance, data quality, and system reliability.
- Analyze alerts and cases to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Create dashboards and reports for leadership, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain documentation on systems, rules, and testing.
- Support implementation of automated compliance workflows with proper oversight.
- Coordinate technical issues and priorities across multiple teams and vendors.
- Ensure compliance technology adapts to new products and regulatory changes.
4. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years supporting compliance technology, BSA/AML, financial crimes, or related areas.
- Experience with transaction monitoring, risk rating, EDD, case management, and compliance controls.
- Ability to translate regulatory and policy requirements into technical and operational solutions.
- Strong analytical skills for data evaluation and control performance investigation.
- Experience with workflow tools, case-management platforms, dashboards, and system configuration.
- Effective written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Detail-oriented with knowledge of testing, change management, governance, and audit readiness.
Preferred:
- Experience in regulated banking or bank-partnership environments.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Knowledge of transaction-monitoring rules and regulatory expectations.
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, or model validation.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $145,000 - $205,000
- USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $128,000 - $188,000
- Base pay is part of a total compensation package including equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology spending.
- The organization provides 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
