Azure Data Engineer

Summary:

• The Enterprise Architecture team in partnership with the Information Security Data Operations team are working on a project to centralize Proofpoint data suite in the CyberDW (i.e., Adaptive DLP, TRAP/TAP and CASB).
• To achieve success, this individual will be required to analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of data sources required for this effort in the Cybersecurity Data Lakehouse.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Function as a development resource in the Information Security Data Operations team and a technical liaison between the Data Owners, Security Architecture, Enterprise Information Protection, and the Security Engineering teams.
• Responsible for timely follow-ups and routine updates to the CyberDW sprint schedule as well as adherence to the internal IT SDLC agile processes.
• Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Develop data pipelines, implement data lakes, ensure data security and compliance.
• Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years required (10+ years preferred) within enterprise data environments
• Azure certifications, experience with Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Relevant certifications ideally with Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Data Factory, etc.
