- Job Title: AWS Data Architect

- Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on AWS.
- Architect enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
- Analyze source systems and understand end-to-end data flows across multiple applications.
- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business requirements.
- Perform data profiling, data discovery, metadata management, and data inventory activities.
- Define data lineage and dependency mapping across enterprise systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data cataloging, access control, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions, conduct technical design reviews, and provide best-practice guidance.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable data solutions.
- Drive cloud migration and data modernization initiatives on AWS.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Data Platforms.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data solutions on AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience implementing modern data lake architectures using Apache Iceberg.
- Strong experience with Amazon Aurora and relational database design.
- Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
- Experience performing source system analysis, data profiling, and data discovery.
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills.
- Experience designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
