  • Role Description The AWS Analytics Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Newark, NJ, supporting local clients and project teams. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AWS-based data pipelines and analytics solutions, including ingestion, transformation, and integration of data from multiple sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models, implementing data warehousing strategies, and enabling scalable reporting and analytics capabilities. The AWS Analytics Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the analytics environment. The role also involves monitoring and troubleshooting data workflows, documenting solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement of the data and analytics ecosystem.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong data engineering skills, including experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines on AWS.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts to support reporting, analytics, and BI use cases.
  • Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, tools, and frameworks for structured and semi-structured data.
  • Background in data analytics, including translating business needs into analytical solutions and dashboards.
  • Experience with AWS services commonly used for data and analytics (such as Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, S3, Athena, or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (such as Python) for data manipulation and automation.
  • Familiarity with BI and reporting tools and best practices for data visualization and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work on-site in Newark, NJ, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing environments and background in digital transformation or enterprise systems is beneficial.
