Role Description We're hiring an Associate/Analyst to join our asset management team, supporting day-to-day operations across either our multifamily or industrial portfolio (assigned based on fit and need). You'll serve as the connective tissue between ownership and on-site teams — translating ownership's objectives into on-the-ground execution and holding properties accountable to performance.
- What You'll Do
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reporting for ownership
- Audit rent rolls, ledgers, and financials in our property management system (ResMan)
- Visit properties regularly to ensure operational excellence on site
- Monitor property-level performance across occupancy, leasing velocity, delinquency, operating expenses, and NOI relative to budget, identifying variances and driving corrective action
- Partner directly with on-site management and third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring service standards and accountability
- Oversee unit turnover, maintenance workflows, lease expirations, and renewal pipelines to safeguard occupancy and minimize revenue lossSupport budgeting, variance analysis, and CapEx project tracking
- Identify operational inefficiencies and help implement fixes, including with our internal automation and AI tooling
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience; real estate, property management, finance, or operations background a plus but not required
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, present findings, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willing to travel to properties and work directly with onsite staff, not just behind a desk.
