Applications & Automation Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

The Applications & Automation Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing W.R. MEADOWS’ enterprise software environment while driving automation and process improvements across the organization.

This role combines application administration with hands-on development of automation, integrations, and workflow solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and support business operations. The position works closely with internal departments to identify opportunities for improvement and delivers scalable, technology-driven solutions.

The role will also collaborate with the AI-focused team to support AI-enabled workflows and integrations as part of the company’s evolving technology strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Administer and support enterprise applications including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CRM platforms, Syspro ERP, Batchmaster, SQL databases, and related systems
  • Manage user access, permissions, configurations, and system performance to ensure reliability and security
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes across departments
  • Build scripts, workflows, and integrations using tools such as Python, PowerShell, APIs, and automation platforms
  • Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise systems to improve data flow and operational efficiency
  • Create and support SQL queries, reports, and data solutions to meet business needs
  • Partner with business units to identify inefficiencies and recommend system or process improvements
  • Provide user support, documentation, and training related to applications and automation solutions
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and integrations
  • Support data governance, access control, and IT best practices
  • Collaborate with the AI & IT Solutions team to support AI-enabled workflows and future initiatives

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal Education & Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA) are a plus
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience supporting and administering enterprise software platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CRM, or similar)
  • Experience with scripting or development (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
  • Experience with automation tools, APIs, or workflow platforms
  • Understanding of user access management, system configuration, and application support
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple systems
  • Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Syspro or similar) is preferred

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Participation in meetings, cross-functional projects, and system deployments
