  • Are You seeking an experienced Application Systems Analyst II to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise applications and business systems. This role serves as a key liaison between end users, business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure applications effectively support operational objectives and deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, application support, and systems configuration experience, along with the ability to manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support & Optimization
  • Analyze, configure, implement, support, maintain, and enhance assigned applications and business solutions.
  • Ensure system functionality aligns with operational and technical requirements.
  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend system improvements that enhance efficiency, usability, and overall user experience.
  • Support testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
  • Business Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements and workflows.
  • Conduct:

  • Solution recommendations
  • Translate business needs into effective system solutions and configurations.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize business processes.
  • Project Implementation & Coordination
  • Participate in medium-complexity system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Manage assigned project activities and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support change management and deployment activities.
  • System Configuration & Technical Support
  • Configure applications according to business and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate application releases, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Troubleshoot moderate application incidents independently.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and external vendors to resolve system issues.
  • Ensure system changes follow established governance and change control procedures.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Build strong relationships with business users, operational leaders, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding system enhancements, issues, and process improvements.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solution designs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Business requirements documents
  • Process flows
  • Testing scripts
  • Configuration documentation
  • User guides
  • Training materials
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Share knowledge and support the onboarding and development of team members.
  • Quality, Compliance & Governance
  • Adhere to established system configuration, quality assurance, and change management standards.
  • Ensure proper testing, approval, and validation of system changes.
  • Support compliance with organizational policies and governance requirements.
  • Escalate issues appropriately when service levels or project commitments are at risk.
  • Training & User Support
  • Assist in delivering training programs and educational sessions for users and team members.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
  • Promote best practices and effective system utilization across user communities.
  • Support user adoption of new functionality and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • 3+ years of experience in:
  • Application Support
  • Systems Analysis
  • Business Systems
  • Information Technology
  • Related functional areas
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting business, information systems, or industry-specific applications.
  • Experience gathering requirements and supporting system implementations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Information Systems
  • Business Administration
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Computer Science
  • Related field
  • Relevant application or technology certifications.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting regulated or complex operational environments.
  • For Specialized Application Analysts
  • Relevant product certifications or proficiency in assigned applications preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications within designated timeframes.
