  • Are you an experienced healthcare IT professional with expertise in application support, system optimization, workflow analysis, and project leadership?
  • We are seeking an Application System Analyst Senior to serve as a key liaison between business operations, end users, IT teams, and vendors. This role is responsible for analyzing requirements, configuring and optimizing applications, leading testing initiatives, managing medium-to-large projects, and ensuring technology solutions align with operational and clinical needs.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in healthcare information systems, application support, business analysis, system configuration, workflow optimization, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Application Analysis & Support
  • Analyze, design, configure, implement, and support assigned applications.
  • Optimize application functionality to meet business and operational goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and service requests.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Support ongoing application maintenance and enhancement activities.

  • Partner with customers, operational leaders, and stakeholders to understand business needs.

  • Regression Testing
  • Develop testing plans, scripts, and validation procedures.
  • Coordinate testing across multiple teams and applications.
  • Ensure quality standards are met before deployment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for testing and validation processes.
  • Project Leadership
  • Manage medium-to-large-scale projects and system enhancement requests.
  • Coordinate activities across business, operational, and technical teams.
  • Track project progress and communicate status updates.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Healthcare Workflow Optimization
  • Analyze clinical and business workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promote standardized practices across departments and facilities.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recommend technology-enabled process improvements.
  • Support enterprise-wide workflow alignment initiatives.
  • Vendor & Technical Coordination
  • Coordinate with software vendors regarding:
  • Product Enhancements
  • Defect Resolution
  • Code Changes
  • System Updates
  • Work with technical infrastructure teams to resolve application-related issues.
  • Support implementation of vendor upgrades and releases.
  • Share vendor best practices with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Change Management & Governance
  • Follow established change management processes.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Preferred
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in:

Experience

  • Required
  • 5+ years of experience in:
