Role Overview:

• We are hiring for one of our clients.
• The Application System Analyst Lead provides leadership and technical expertise for healthcare information systems, application support, and enterprise projects. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing complex system initiatives, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that support business and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead application implementation activities including configuration, testing, deployment, optimization, and support.
• Serve as an escalation point for application-related issues and operational support activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure quality standards and project objectives are achieved.
• Analyze business and operational processes and translate requirements into effective system solutions.
• Document workflows, requirements, dependencies, and project deliverables.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead process improvement, requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and system design activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and operational stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, conflicts, and roadblocks and coordinate resolution efforts.
• Organize workloads, assign tasks, and support cross-training and mentoring initiatives.
• Maintain expertise in assigned applications, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Analyze, design, configure, and support complex application environments.
• Collaborate with compliance, application development, and business process teams to develop effective solutions.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across multiple application teams.
• Manage large, complex, or sensitive projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Support vendor-related system changes and application updates.
• Participate in professional development activities to remain current with industry trends and technologies.
• Plan and coordinate projects across multiple application areas.
• Travel and additional work hours may be required based on operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• 5–7 years of experience supporting healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated healthcare systems knowledge and application expertise.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications related to the area of focus preferred.
• For Epic-focused roles, proficiency or certification in the assigned Epic module is required and certifications must remain current.
